Here’s what he has to say:

Cover your hair to protect it from sunlight

As we all know that it’s important to protect hair from UV radiations. Therefore, while traveling; make sure that you have covered your hair with a hat or a scarf.

Use a cleanser

A cleanser will wash out all the dust and dirt that gets accumulated on your skin while traveling. It refreshes your skin and prevents breakouts.

Sunscreen is your best friend

Sun can cause a high amount of damage to your skin. Therefore, always keep sunscreen in your bag and apply before going outdoor.

Keep your body hydrated

This is one of the most important things you should remember while traveling. Try to drink at least a cup of water per hour and avoid drinking alcohol, as it dehydrates your body.

Carry wet tissues or blotting paper

It’s obvious that while traveling, your skin accumulates oily elements. Therefore, carrying blotting paper or wet tissues is always a good decision.

Never do excessive make-up

Don’t do excessive make-up before or while traveling. Sweat can smudge your make up and further cause problems.

Bring conditioner with you

A good conditioner will offer moisture and protection to your hair. And if you are planning to take a swim in the pool, make sure that you have soaked your hair in fresh water before diving-in.

No doubt, traveling is a wonderful experience. But never compromise your health. This is Thomas Salzano, your trusted hairstylist, photographer, traveler and a blogger signing off for now.
