If you stood with the Notre Dame Basilica that was pictured yesterday at your back, this is your view; Place d’Armes. The Maisonneuve Monument in the foreground honors Paul de Chomedey, who defended the young settlement against attack. The building with the blue light and dome in back is the Bank of Montreal. It is a lovely building but difficult to photograph during the day because there always seems to be a delivery truck in front of it.
